This is my 2nd grade class helping me make posters to help save the Maui's dolphins. That’s me at the far right in the back in the group picture. On Monday I talked to the class about the dolphins and made them interested. On Tuesday all of these pictures are from when we made posters. On Wednesday we colored Save the Last 50 Maui's Dolphin coloring pages and will mail them to the Prime Minister. I have 23 kids in my class, each one of us represents half of the remaining Maui's dolphins. You can see us all on the slideshow below. Everybody in my class thinks that catching dolphins in fishing nets is cruel and a bad thing. My friend Emma cried about the dolphins, she was so sad that they are dying. My friends like Gracee, Abby and Jacob donated their savings to my donation box. My little sister Emy is trying to help too by sharing the Maui dolphin story with her class. She’s 5. Help me save the last Maui's dolphins! This is important because they will be the first marine mammal (cetacean) to die from humans. Join me and help by: 1) Donating money to NABU International here, to fight the government's decisions 2) Sign the online petition here 3) Spread the word!!! To pressure the New Zealand government to save the Maui's dolphins
